Please restrict travel to Black Hills area during Sturgis Motorcycle Week. This includes cities of Sturgis, Lead, Deadwood, Spearfish, Rapid City, Wall, Kadoka, Belle Fourche, Hot Springs, Custer, Hill City, Edgemont, Newell, and all campgrounds in the Black Hills area.

As Tropical Storm Idalia approaches Florida it is anticipated that the storm will strengthen to a major category 3 hurricane prior to landfall. Governor Desantis has issued an emergency declaration in preparation for the storm.

Maui County suffered devastating fires that claimed towns, lives, and livestock. Communication is limited. Recovery effort are still underway.

August 3-14, 2023: Sturgis Motorcycle Week. Please restrict all offender travel to the Black Hills area including cities of Sturgis, Lead, Deadwood, Spearfish, Rapid City, Wall Kadoka, Belle Fourche, Hot Springs, Custer, Hill City, Edgemont, Newell, and campgrounds in the Black Hills area.

Please restrict travel to Multnomah County, which includes the city of Portland. A large demonstration event is scheduled.

Please restrict offenders from traveling to, or through, Wyoming during the 79th Sturgis (South Dakota) Motorcycle Rally.

Requests travel restriction to the island of Hawaii from the beginning of June to the end of August. Please contact the Hawaii Interstate Compact Office for more information. This request may be extended.
