  • Training Webinar
    • Originally held on June 8, 2020 at 2pm ET, this webinar highlights the Interstate Compact for Adult Offender Supervision (ICAOS) and the Interstate Compact for Juveniles (ICJ) processes to place individuals on probation or parole where they have the best chance for success through community supervision. Both compacts operate systems that facilitate the transfer of supervision from a sentencing state to a receiving state. Furthermore, the juvenile compact is the only legal mechanism for the return of runaway juveniles who have left their state of residence.

      This webinar provides:
      •    An overview of interstate compact transfers, supervision expectations and returns
      •    Discussion on the compacts’ common objectives as well as the legal implications of compact rules and processes
      •    Information on resources available to help states to ensure they have a proper understanding when interstate cases arise
