• Originally held on April 30, 2020 at 3pm ET, this webinar highlights interstate compact processes relevant to courts and the Compact’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Various state actions, including court closures, changes in supervision methods and travel restrictions are presenting challenges to states in adhering to Commission rules and timeframes as set forth in the Compact’s rules. Therefore, the Commission has instituted several measures to assist states through these challenging times.

  Participants will learn about the measures, which include the adoption of a new policy and new emergency rule that will allow the Commission to temporarily suspend enforcement of Compact rules or parts thereof during a declared emergency.
