New Mexico flag+ New Mexico - May 17–20: Please restrict offender travel to the Ruidoso area for the AspenCash Motorcycle Rally

New Mexico flag+ New Mexico - May 24–28: Please restrict offender travel to the Red River area for the Red River Memorial Day Motorcycle Rally

JULY
New Mexico flag+ New Mexico - July 26–29: Please restrict offender travel to the Las Vegas, NM area for the Rough Rider Motorcycle Rally

SEPTEMBER
New Mexico flag+ New Mexico - September 12–16: Please restrict offender travel to the Mescalero area for the Golden Aspen Motorcycle Rally

Arkansas flag + Arkansas - The following 3 Compact Office staff members were added to the directory:
  • Barry Garland—Administrative Analyst
  • Londa Gatson—Administrative Specialist III
  • April Wade—Administrative Specialist II
Colorado flag + Colorado - Governor John Hickenlooper has appointed former Parole Deputy Compact Administrator, Merideth McGrath, as the state’s new Interstate Compact Commissioner / Compact Administrator.

New Mexico flag + New Mexico - 4 events were added to the State-Requested Travel Restrictions page.

Vermont flag + Vermont - Jessica Dorr, Director of Victim Services, is the new Victims’ Representative on the State Council.

+ Compact Office Calendar - Please be aware of closures, shortened hours of operation, or the possibility of limited staff due to inclement weather, trainings, and state and national holidays.

ICOTS logo Reminder - It is encouraged for all DCAs and Compact Offices to register for service-level notifications for ICOTS. Notifications can be via email and SNS (text) notifications. End users can sign up for the notifications if they choose. Notifications will include outages, maintenance windows, and other emergency issues relating to ICOTS.

ICOTS logo Reminder - Details of the latest ICOTS enhancement can be found at the ICOTS Help Desk. The most recent enhancement was launched on Wednesday, April 25:
  • Add a “tolled” function to the supervision end date to mark supervision end date on hold while Violations are pending
  • Display workflow comments in activity history
  • Label case notes generated by reassignment to distinguish them from other case notes
Reminder - In the Spirit of the Compact, a South Region DCA provides quick assistance to extradite an unwilling offender.

Reminder - Thanks to the Spirit of the Compact, NY Parole found a new out-of-state home for an offender receiving death threats.
