Spirit Sightings: Preserving the Spirit of the Compact
What is meant by “Preserving the Spirit of the Compact”? It can be difficult to define but in the simplest of terms it is the act of going above and beyond the general call of duty to reach the conclusion or solution that best serves public safety.
Since Preserving the Spirit of the Compact is so critical in advancing the Commission’s work the National Office has launched this new web-based initiative where individuals who witness the Spirit of the Compact in action may relay the details of the event by entering the information in the nomination form.
It is time to recognize those working within the Compact who are going above and beyond to reach the best solution to ensure public safety.
