ICOTS Privacy Policy On-Demand Module

The National office has released an On-Demand module covering the ICOTS Privacy Policy and User Agreement. This module outlines the requirements of the Privacy Policy and User Agreement. Every user of ICOTS is required to read the policy and sign the user agreement prior to receiving an ICOTS account. The on-demand module and other resources can be found on the ICOTS Materials page.

National Offices Publishes Two ICOTS Launch Documents

With the October 6th implementation date for ICOTS approaching, the National Office, with the assistance of the Pilot States, published two documents to assist states with implementation, “Lessons Learned from the Pilot” and “ICOTS Implementation Guide”.

Urgent: Damage in Texas from Hurricane Ike

Damage from Hurricane Ike in the Houston-Galveston area is substantial and widespread. Of 10 Houston area parole offices that are reporting, four have significant wind and water damage. None of the offices has power, and estimates of when power will be restored vary according to location. It appears, however, that power will be out for the remainder of this week.

Probation offices in the Houston-Galveston area are closed as well. It is estimated that those will be closed for at least a week.
